Board Meeting Monday to Appoint Macquline King CEO
Monday's special meeting of the Chicago Board of Education includes a resolution to offer Macquline King a contract to become the district's CEO.
According to the board agenda published earlier this morning, Monday's special board meeting includes a vote to approve Macquline King as the permanent superintendent/CEO of Chicago Public Schools.
Another resolution urges Gov. JB Pritzker and the Illinois General Assembly to reject the federal tax-credit scholarship program approved last summer in H.R. 1, commonly knows as the "One Big Beautiful Bill."
